Cheryl Kushner
Director
I’m excited to begin this journey as Director at Sapphire Early Learning Center. I have worked in childcare for over 10 years. I started as a teacher’s assistant, then head teacher, and assistant director. I have tried other careers including Veterinary Technology, customer service, and retail but childcare has my heart. It is where I am happy and feel like I can make a difference in the life of a child.
In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my two kids-Marcus (20 years old) and Allie (14 years old)-travelling and exploring. I also enjoy reading and doing craft projects. I have 2 mini Berne doodle puppies, a new kitten, a cat, 2 rabbits, and fish that also keep me busy.
I’m looking forward to starting this new chapter in my life and getting to know the children, parents, staff and board members.
